  1. :D Awesome as usual liz! Just one tiny suggestion--is there any way you can slightly enhance the size of the ant in the last frame? It seems a bit small and it looks a little bit like a wrinkle in his hand or something when you look at it quick. But again--FANTASTIC stuff! :D

  2. I think the size of the ant is fine. What I'm wondering more about is whether the palm of the hand was pressed flatly on the ground (squishing the ant), or that the hand landed on the fingertips rather than the palm (thus saving the ant.) Also, who is this that is falling anyway? The boy who was knocked over, or the girl who was knocked into?

Just a bit of crit. I think the pacing could be faster. Make sure that each last panel is a mini "cliffhanger", like you did here (so that it gives the reader a reason to keep going). Glad to see you muster up courage to draw comics!

  3. It'd be more clear once I do the next page. This is more supposed to be read with all the panels together, I'm just doing it page by page so I can do it in small increments weekly or whenever I get around to it. Once it's done I'd take away the page format and list all the panels on top of each other. You're right the pacing could be faster, I might fool around with panel sizing later to clarify. The hand does squish the ant and it is he boy who falls into the girls desk which would be revealed in the next few panels.

  4. I actually like the slower pacing. Really puts you into the girl's head of an agonizingly slow day with this small distraction. I wouldn't speed it up at all since this scene is so critical.

    :D
